Chair Michelle Jordan is Senior Manager, Strategic Community Partnerships for PepsiCo, Inc. Jordan is currently responsible for managing all corporate community relations activities while strengthening the company’s national image as a premier corporate citizen. She strategically manages PepsiCo’s community activities and leads the development of key partnerships with select nationwide community-based organizations. Michelle creates opportunities by building high level relationships with diverse external organizations, recommending, developing, implementing and/or facilitating internal and external diversity relations, strategies, alliances and programs. She has been with the company since 1984.

In Coming Chair Yolanda Medina Casey is Project Manager in the Visual Merchandising Division for Hallmark Cards, Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri. She is responsible for managing numerous teams in the revitalization of the corporate owned stores. This entails product assortment, merchandising of product, environmental graphics and marketing. Yolanda also serves as the liaison for the company to numerous Hispanic initiatives both internal and external.

Secretary John is currently Senior Diversity Advisor within Shell’s Global Diversity & Inclusiveness - Planning and Integration consultancy where he serves as a catalyst for change by integrating D&I into Shell’s global business and people strategies. Over the course of his career, John has held various Human Resources generalist and managerial roles across most of Shell’s business segments. He has presented at numerous external diversity conferences speaking on such topics as Employee Networks and their role in an organization’s diversity strategy and Shell’s progress to date with respect to global diversity efforts. He has served as the membership chair of the Conference Board Diversity Council, was a charter member of the Business Women’s Network Diversity Best Practices Council, and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Profiles in Diversity Journal quarterly He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Management. |
| Treasurer Yvonne Vargas is a Diversity Manager with The Boeing Company and serves as Boeing’s Diversity Southwest Regional Lead. In her role as Lead she provides consultation and guidance to Boeing sites in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Hawaii on diversity strategic initiatives and contributes to the design and direction of the enterprise-wide Global Integrated Diversity and Compliance Strategy. She is also the Boeing WHQ Diversity Liaison for the Boeing Employee Hispanic Network (BEHN) affinity group. In addition, Yvonne serves on Boeing’s Enterprise-wide Diversity Technical Affiliations Team. She also serves as the company's Focal with national level Hispanic affiliations.

| Christian Henning Christian F. Henning is currently a Program Manager with Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, WA. He coordinates succession planning and talent mapping efforts for Microsoft’s Executive Recruiting Team. As part of his duties, Mr. Henning also represents his group in diversity initiatives. He is the recipient of Microsoft’s DRIVE (Diversity Recruiting Initiatives Via Excellence) Award for his work with the National Hispanic Corporate Council (NHCC). |

Education Co-Chair Carlos Pagoaga is Manager of Hispanic Community Relations for The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta Georgia. He is responsible for maintaining relationships with Hispanic non-profit organizations in the U.S. and programs targeting the Hispanic community. He has been with the company for over 14 years.

Membership Committee Chair María Valentin currently leads ConAgra Foods Corporate Community Affairs and The Language Access Services Departments. Under the direction of ConAgra Foods’ Workforce Effectiveness, the Community Affairs Department develops, coordinates and implements events and programs in collaboration with local and national community leaders. Ms. Valentin has more than 17 years of experience in community relations, management and volunteerism. She has been with ConAgra Foods, Inc., for the last six years.

MArketing Chair As manager of inclusion and diversity for Sprint Nextel, Jon Muñoz works on key internal and external company diversity initiatives such as the Sprint Nextel All Inclusive Workplace employee training program, affinity marketing programs, and the inclusion and diversity brand. In addition, Muñoz manages strategic business relationships with key partners like the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and the National Hispanic Corporate Council (NHCC).

CHAIR José (Pepe) Estrada is Director of Hispanic Markets for the Office of Diversity in Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Pepe joined the Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in June of 2004. In his new role Pepe and his team are building and strengthening relationships between Wal-Mart and the Hispanic community in the US. Before Wal-Mart, Pepe managed State Farm's Public Relations with the Hispanic community. In that capacity, he shaped State Farm's outreach strategy for the emerging markets in the US. During his tenure, State Farm has been recognized by various community groups for its efforts to further the economic development of the Hispanic community.

In his current role, Eloy leads the development and launch of new insurance products and services. In addition to his work on consumer driven innovation, Eloy has accountability for the Multicultural Customer Experience strategy and associated efforts. |

Angel Herrera Angel Herrera is currently Regional Vice President in the Southwest Region for ARAMARK Corporation. Immediately prior to his current position, Mr. Herrera was Division Vice President for Burger King Corporation in the Southcentral Region of the U.S.A. Herrera has held numerous executive positions including Executive Vice President of Interfood Corporation, a privately held corporation based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Senior Vice President of Tricon Restaurants International and President of TRI Mexico. He has worked with Procter & Gamble, J. Walter Thompson and Pepsico. He is a graduate of the Boston College School of Business and studied law at Interamerican University. Mr. Herrera is currently an executive member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA), past member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) and on the advisory board of the Collin County United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.

Ismael “Junior” Ortiz Junior Ortiz joined AARP in January of 2005 as the Director of Hispanic/Latino Membership Development. In this role, he is leading AARP’s efforts to increase outreach to the Hispanic community and to ensure their AARP membership experience is one of value. He serves on the corporate board of advisors of several national Hispanic organizations in addition to The National Coorporate Hispanic Council, including the Cuban American National Council and US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is on the board of the Association of Naval Service Officers and is a life member of the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation and American GI Forum.

ART RUIZ Art Ruiz is Director of Community Alliance for Corporate Communication and External Relations Department of State Farm Insurance Companies in Washington, D.C. He assumed this position in 2004. He is responsible for building national coalitions and Public Relations. Since joining the company in 1981, Ruiz has worked in various capacities including Government Affairs, agency recruitment, human resources, administrative services and public affairs.

Sandra M. Weber Sandra Murillo Weber as vice president of multicultural market development for Turner Entertainment Networks is responsible for growing African American, Asian American and Hispanic audiences via strategic efforts in programming, casting, marketing and ad sales. Her work in diverse casting, production and storylines have received recognition by Imagen Awards, the NAACP and NAMIC and The Black Movie Awards for TNT’s, The Boondocks on Adult Swim and Cartoon Network’s Juniper Lee. Weber’s marketing campaigns targeting Hispanic and African American audiences, have won CTAM awards. Weber joined TBS, Inc. from Comcast Spotlight where she was director of ad sales for multicultural markets. She was national sales manager for Hispanic markets with AT&T Media Services and an account executive with TCI Media Services. In addition to the NHCC Board, she is on the national boards of NAMIC and Atlanta Board of the Devereaux Foundation. Weber earned a bachelors of arts degree in social communication from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, and a master of arts degree in communication arts from the University of West Florida in Pensacola. |
