IN-SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Hispanic community is not only the largest, minority group in America, it is the youngest. Its median age is under 26 years with 6.6% ranging in age from 14-17 years. NHCC is committed to promoting the contributions of Hispanics in corporate America to Hispanic youth. We stress the importance of education in their personal development and in meeting their goals and career potential.
In 1997, the NHCC developed its In-School Program to create a link between Hispanic students in junior and senior high schools and the individual NHCC representatives. The in-school presentations are conducted several times a year. Following is a list of recent school visits.
